Leadership Nottoway Program Overview
“A fun and informative program designed to bring new and future business executives together with existing leaders for a comprehensive look at Southside Virginia”
September 2008-March 2009
This is a ten-session program that meets twice a month (excluding December). Leadership Nottoway provides insight into the area’s strategic plans for economic development, the operation of Fort Pickett, the multitude of cultural opportunities available, an appreciation of the area’s history, and more. Throughout the course, we offer strong professional development and networking components.
Leadership Nottoway begins with an Orientation in September. Participants attend two sessions per month (excluding December) on Tuesdays unless otherwise indicated. There are activities scheduled throughout the course to ensure the highest level of networking potential, including a trip to the General Assembly, and a bus tour of Fort Pickett.
No matter if you are new to the area or if you have been here for years, Leadership Nottoway can open new doors of opportunity. Join us in pursuing this exciting leadership adventure!
What We Do :
Our program is designed to provide a dynamic and comprehensive overview of our community. It features forums and presentation with an outstanding collection of leaders in the areas of Education, Government, and Leadership.
Class Times:
All sessions are scheduled from 4:30-8:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Class times, locations and presenters are subject to change.
Registration:
An application is available from the Blackstone or Crewe Burkeville Chamber office.
Tuition:
Tuition is $150 and payable upon receipt of invoice. Tuition includes materials, and meals.
