AT THE MOVIES WITH MISTY
BEGINS IN TODAY'S COURIER

A Lunenburg woman is making her debut this week as a movie critic for the
Courier-Record.
Misty Clark, daughter of Timmy and Linda Clark of Victoria, is a Film
Studies minor at Randolph-Macon College, where shešs majoring in
Business/Economics.
"At The Movies With Misty" will be an occasional feature for the
Courier-Record, as "hot" new movies and DVDs are released, likely once or
twice a month. This week, she previews Cold Mountain (see story).
Miss Clark, who turns 20 next month, says that after graduation in 2005 (a
year early), she plans to attend the New York Film Academy and pursue a
career in broadcast journalism. Shešs currently Style Editor for her college
newspaper, The Yellow Jacket, and also waits tables at Cracker Barrel
restaurant in Ashland.
While many of her classmates "coast" by taking 12-credit semesters, Misty
Clark has been taking as many as 16 or 17 academic hours a semester. When
shešs back home in Lunenburg, you can count on seeing Misty at the family
business, Timmy's Grocery.
"I like all kinds of movies," says the 2002 graduate of Kenston Forest
School in Blackstone. "I like sports movies, action, horror, drama."
(She notes that previews for the upcoming Miracle, detailing the 1980 U. S.
Olympic goal medal hockey team, "look really good.")
Misty says shešs not afraid of flicks with lots of gore, either. "I laugh
