The elected officials and guests of honor in attendance from the state level were Senator Louis Lucas, Delegate Tommy Wright, and Delegate Clarke Hogan. On the federal level, Congressman Randy Forbes was represented by his district representative Rick Franklin. On the county level Supervisors Clarence Simpson and Sherman Vaughan were in attendance. On the local level from Blackstone were Mayor Billy Coleburn and Councilman Ben Green; from Crewe were Mayor Hank Crittenden and Councilman Lee Simmons and from Burkeville was Mayor Joe Morrissette. It is true that you are “only as good as the folks who surround you!” I was extremely blessed to have such a group of dedicated board members and Chamber volunteers this year.
A special thank you to all of our sponsors and especially to our Platinum Sponsors, Citizens Bank and Trust and Heritage Hall

In an effort to grow, yet keep dues affordable, your Board created a “Non-Dues Revenue” Committee. This committee oversees our Annual Arts & Crafts Festival. This past year we hosted our first Annual Casino Night.
It has been my pleasure to serve as your Board Chairman and I can assure you that the Board of Directors will continue to meet your needs!
