Parade Winners: First Place Winners: Business Float-General Iron & Steel, Non-Business Float-Crewe Homecoming Committee, Religious Float-Blackstone Assembly of God, Marching Band-Brunswick High School, Marching Unit-Camp Kenbridge. Thank you to every unit that participated in the 2001 Christmas Parade!
Trade Show: The Chamber is considering hosting a trade show for its members and the community. The event would be held in the Spring. We are trying to determine if the business community is interested in such an event. Please contact the Chamber office if you would like for your business to participate in this type of event.
Recent Events: The Annual Blackstone Christmas Parade was a huge success with record crowds! The Legislative Breakfast was an interesting and informative forum. Grand Illumination in the Park had a great crowd and wonderful line-up of talent. Please see the enclosed thank-you recognizing the sponsors for these programs. Thank you to everyone that helped make these events possible!
Chamber Annual Meeting Awards: Nomination forms for Chamber’s annual business awards will be mailed soon. Awards include: Business of the Year, Business Advocate of the Year, and Lifetime Achievement. The annual meeting will be held in March.
